About Us

CompAir is a Social Enterprise determined to expose air pollution and help communities and industry to work together to reduce it.

The idea to improve indoor air began with a lightbulb moment sitting in a mud hut in rural Sri Lanka where CompAir founders, Mike Coombes and Guy Monson had previously set up and run a charity www.proporta.org

Guy Monson tells this story on his Linked In page, click here to read it.

CompAir is supported by much cleverer people at University College London and backed by Sustainability venture capitalists, Bethnal Green Ventures and Sustainable Ventures.
